Scream Media was commissioned to develop a brand-new marketing campaign for Fun Light, aiming to connect the brand more closely with dinner occasions while creating a youthful and modern visual identity.

To bring this concept to life, the entire campaign was set in a VFX universe and filmed using a bluescreen. Our Wally robot was used in all scenes to create unique camera movements, with tracking data from the footage sent directly to the VFX team to streamline 3D motion simulation. The robot was also utilized as a jib crane in several shots, adding more flexibility to the camera work.
One of the biggest advantages of using a robotic arm is its ability to repeat the exact same movement every time. This was especially crucial in a production involving multiple actors, various tasks, and limited time per shot. By pre-programming the camera movements, the director could fully focus on the actors, ensuring each take was identical to the previous one.
The robot operation was managed by Adrian Axel and Peter Bryng, with Joakim Østrem serving as the Bolt assistant.
